I installed this a few weeks ago and it works great.It arrived quickly, the part fit my 2009 VW Touareg and performs well. It seems quite rugged and it is much less expensive than the OEM part from the dealer. This **might** be a bit louder than the original fan, but my older ears don't hear high frequency sounds as well as they used to and it certainly isn't noticeable unless you are specifically listening for it.I strongly recommend replacing the cabin air filter while you are working in that area.
