I initially love the lights. Good look for my truck. Several months later and hitting trails with swamps, I stared noticing moisture building up in both lights. The passenger side run light doesn’t work now. I was hoping that it was a short in the wire. But further inspection showed that wasn’t the case. It is still a nice set of light if your truck is going to be a pavement princess. Off roading, not 100% sure. Hope this helps.THESE HEAD LIGHT HOUSING IS SOMETHING YOU MUST HAVE ON YOUR TACOMAThey will fit any 3rd gen Tacoma including the Newest 2019 Truck (my truck)The black housing and LED set up is untouchable, simple beautiful and 10 times meaner than the factory lights.3 issue I have with them, NOT EASY to install even after watching videos on YouTube on how to do it, remember the people on YouTube doing those videos are showing us all for a reason, it’s a mission to install them but you CAN do it yourself and I guess we really can’t blame the makers of these lights for that soooooooooo I guess I only really have 2 issues with the unit. 1- the DRL’s are NOT BRIGHT ENOUGH, they look amazing and run beautifully but LED can be way better & 2- this unit comes with plain old halogen lights, BORRRRRRRRRING. You can rig LED head light bulbs to the factory unit with the bracket that comes holding the bulb in place just make sure you are carful with what your doing, I DID IT EASILY AND AM WAY HAPPIER I DID ( you can see the difference in the picture I posted, picture #4). Also the LED bulb I installed H7 xspeed LED WHITE.These are the lowest light output lights I've seen for my Tacoma. Dangerously low because I drive through wooded country (city driving awful too) in the dark and cannot see well at all. Even worse in the rain. I tried to resolve this with Akkon but they have no answers for me and left me with these unusable lights. Really regret buying these.I purchased this device for my friend in Dubaii and he said it’s really good and he loves itCAUTION! do not purchase these lights if your trim is a SR5. Even though it is descriptive as fitting my Toyota Tacoma which is saved as SR5 in my Amazon garage these lights will not match up. So even if you take your grill off your bumper apart your light off and three of the four plugs fit you will not get the full use of the headlight.The bulbs the headlights came with were pretty dim and the cutoff line was screwed up, the brights are actually pretty good and luckily mine didn’t need to be adjusted but once the rainy season hit they got moisture in the lenses and my passenger side DRL stopped working. The warranty is also very short. Overall I would not recommend thesePart came in wrong. Doesn’t fit SR5. Only limited and TRD. Seller is a dick, won’t exchange. And now delaying return. Super confused because the part quality is awesome and shipping was fast. Will update once resolved.Waste of money. Bulbs it comes with are very dim at night and the high beams adjustment will not adjust correctly. Therefor high beams don’t point in the right direction. Turned them off and the fog lights did better
